Spring Fashion 2020

Here is a complete guide to spring fashion 2020. Lay your hands on the best and the trendiest pieces this season.

The 70’s Block

The trends from 70’s have made a classic comeback this year. Retro mini’s, descendant layering, crochet dresses, denim maxi’s you will see all these pretty pieces all over the internet and in your favourite clothing stores too.  Classic button-down shirts have become one of the most sartorially talked-about basics over the past couple of seasons, but this groovy 2020 take is bringing us back to the disco days. It is customary to keep your shirt collars tucked beneath your blazer lapels, but this spring, designers styled their ’70s-esque collections with big (emphasis on the big) collars pulled out from their usual hiding places beneath blazers and jackets alike. You know what they say: The bigger the collar, the more stylish the look.

Nature Obsession

The fashion scene has always been obsessed with nature. Be it the tropical prints, coral colour tones, varied colour palettes they have explicitly redefined fashion. Fashion forecasters predicted  natural prints will chiefly dominate spring 2020. Floral prints  inject  personality into your look. Depending on the occasion you may opt for bouquets in bold and bright colors, or in watercolor pastels. If your wardrobe is filled with mostly solids, especially in dark colors, adding a burst of bright floral print can be just what’s needed for building an interesting outfit, providing a little joy to your day.

Feel The Calm

Summer is incomplete without breezy neutral dresses. Cool fabrics neutral colour palettes, flowy silhouettes is what spring/ summer fashion is all about.  Muted shades of aqua, turquoise and blue will be everywhere in Spring/Summer 2020.  Monochromatic neutral looks are always the in thing and if you want to experiment team up the neutrals with darker tones or vibrant tones.

Sustainable Fashion

Not just the need of the hour, sustainable fashion is unquestionably in vogue. Sustainable fashion is a movement and process of fostering change to fashion products and the fashion system towards greater ecological integrity and social justice.Go for Quality over quantity and invest more in trans-seasonals. Choice of clothes and the way you spend money on them chiefly determine sustainability.

I don’t think I will ever be sick of rusts, oranges, and browns, but for the start of spring I think this will be the kind of color palette I’ll be leaning more toward: pale yellow, camel, and denim (with a hint of a brown still, because of course I must). I just can’t wait for the weather to cooperate more so that I don’t need to rely on winter coats, knee-high wool socks, and boots every day. Hurry up, spring? Pretty please? Hope everyone has a good weekend! We’re seeing The Lumineers in concert for the first time tonight, and I’m pretty pumped. . – @7115nyc Sumo Jacket in denim, size L – @itiswellla Crewneck Pull-On Sweater in camel, size M (gifted) – @everlane Cheeky Straight Corduroy Pant in hemp, size 32-Regular (gifted; link in bio to support me as an Everlane affiliate) – @madewell socks – @bryrclogs Chloe Closed Toe Clog in acorn, size 40 (gifted)
