What is Intimacy?

The intimacy that you exchange with someone you love can turn bad days into good ones. Wikipedia defines intimacy as  “An intimate relationship is an interpersonal relationship that involves physical or emotional intimacy. Although an intimate relationship is commonly a sexual relationship, it may also be a non-sexual relationship involving family, friends, or acquaintances.

Analogous to the above stated facts it isn’t necessary that we relate intimacy to a physical or sexual relationship. There are countless ways to be intimate, and surprisingly most of them aren’t sexual.
