It’s been a long day without you my friend! Honestly its been long months since we have all hung out with our friends. The only places we meet these days are the facetimes, snapchats and the instagram groups. Thinking of which COVID 19 brought along some very unexpected instagram trends. Have a look at 5 major Instagram Trends Influenced By Quarantine.

Until Tomorrow

Like many other instagram trends this one also originated from Tik Tok.Until Tomorrow challengers posted embarrassing, unflattering, or funny photos of themselves on their account for 24 hours, before removing them. When you take of the picture from your account everyone who liked the picture had to be nominated to do the same.

Dalgona Coffee

The classic Phenti hui Coffee came back with a bang in 2020. ( PS 2020 has been head banging ever since the very first day). Dalgona coffee has existed for way longer than people knew. This rich and creamy drink has taken over all of social media. Call it the quarantine effect or just an outcome of being extremely bored. This is just a overhyped glass of your cold coffee, sprinkled with lots of social media attention and a fancier than usual name.

Pass The Brush /  Don’t Rush Challenge

The challenge involves a group of girls dropping makeup brushes and making it look as though another girl is catching it. The video cuts between clips of each girl which are all edited together alongside a soundtrack. It is sort of a transformation challenge. The people start from their night suits and with a magical brush stroke they change into fancy clothes and on fleek looks.

Safe hands was basically aan awareness campaign started by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director of World Health Organization on 13th of March. Many celebrities have taken up this challenge eversince then. The WHO campaign seems to have been doing its work really well.

Pillow Challenge

The Pillow challenge is pretty evident from the name itself. It innvolves  cinching a pillow around your waist with a belt to make a strapless ‘dress’ You can then add any other accessories you want to make the outfit as chic as possible.
