It has been 25 years since this TV show has been entertaining us, yes rightly we are talking about friends here. One of the most relatable Tv shows ever made, made on a group of six friends in their mid 20’s to 30’s, friends is a show that leaves us all nostalgic. Let’s see how we can all relate to the characters we have been loving since such a long long time. Here is to Friends and the characters we all relate to.
The “I am So organised” Monica
Way too energetic, hyper, and obsessively compulsive is the character Monica Geller played by Courteney Cox. She’s the “mother” of the group, and like some mother she is shown to be overbearing and domineering. A very loyal as well as caring friend who does’nt budge at a life wrecking situation but will get mad at the tiniest mess you make. Who is the Monica of your Group?
Goofed Up Ross
Considered to be the most intelligent of all the group members, Ross Geller played by David Schwimmer is a very rational and loveable kind of person. He is a bit awkward, but not in a bad way. always The one on whom you can count on to do the right thing, and if he fails to, it’s usually because of clumsiness. He is the kind of guy who is more comfortable with a book than a TV remote. The biggest problem he has ever faced is with finding love and trust me we all know such men.
I Know It All Joey
Joey Tribbiani played by Matte Le Blanc is a very simple, genuine, and fun character . It doesn’t take much more than a pizza, a beer, and a football game for this guy to have a good time. Being very cool about being dumb witted and owning upto himself is joey’s thing to do. Sometimes his uncomplicated worldview helps his friends out of their own cluttered headspace.
I am gonna Cry Rachel
Funny and spirited but pretty self-involved Rachel portrayed by Jennifer Anderson is shown to be very troubled over petty things. She’s admitted to never taking out the trash in her life and clearly grew up with people at her beck and call. Life as a normal person is harder than she thought which let us say is true for all of us , but her sense of humor will allow her to at least laugh about it.
Oh My God! Chandler Bing
Mathew Perry as Chandler Bing is a funny, affable, sarcastic and a bit insecure. Chandler can always be counted on for a zinger or quip. As he put it, “I make jokes when I’m uncomfortable… I say more dumb things before 9 a.m. than most people say all day.” Things are always a little more entertaining when Chandler is around.
Phoebe is a sweet-natured but odd guitar player. Having experienced nothing like a normal, complete childhood, Phoebe is often very dim-witted, sometimes smart and is in some regards still a child at heart. She shocks some people in the story line with her frankness on occasions that it catches them off guard from her usual self. This straightforwardness is a running gag throughout the series. Let us know the character you related the most to.
