This rich and creamy drink has taken over all of social media. Call it the quarantine effect or the hack actually works? Well the recipe if you search it is pretty simple with three key ingredients being coffee, sugar and water. Its kinda unbelievable that you will get such a rich foam with mere three ingredients.
Note for all the non millennials
Here’s the thing , this hyped coffee or what we simply call making coffee, has existed for generations. People are simply seeking out ways of dealing quarantine or self-isolation owing to the global crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. This is just a overhyped glass of your cold coffee, sprinkled with lots of social media attention and a fancier than usual name.
- Instant coffee or espresso powder – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Water -2 tbsp
- Milk – 400ml
- Ice if wanted 5-6 Cubes
Dalgona Coffee requires no cooking at all. That’s right but it does involve tedious whisking. Making this delectable drink will give your arms a nice workout. The process is pretty simple. You take all your key ingredients in equal proportion put them in a bowl. And now whisk till eternity my friend. Generally a good 20-25 minutes of whisking will give you the foam.
If you want it chilled stack up your glass with ice and then pour the milk. Top it off with the foam and that is it. Presentation is all upto you and those fancy instagram pictures too. Enjoy your Dalgona Coffee people!
